My Story

I always wanted to write down my story, I was lazy and constantly losing interest in things it led to this delay, so finally I am alone and in Bangalore I thought maybe I should give it a try. AND HERE WE GO

COLLEGE
It all stated in Mangalore, I was in reputed PU college, I don't know whether I missed my native or comforts of my home, I got homesick, college was completely about studies, let alone mobile and laptop we were not supposed to keep novels, board games. I was somewhat a free bird I loved roaming, I was a cricketer and I was playing most of the games.
Actually the only reason why I chose hostel for my PU was my wrong notion that all high standard colleges will have beautiful campuses, forget campus mine didn't even have compound.
my native is Hassan, about 200 Km's from Mangalore, in my holidays we planned to visit Mangalore and apply for some colleges, Ultimate goal was the one in which I got into, I had 91% in my boards, still they weren't sure about giving me a seat in their college they wanted me to visit personally and apply, so it happened. We left early morning picked up someone who was a principal in a college in Mangalore, while dropping him off, he invited us to have a look at his college campus, it had Practice nets, all kind of courts. I was impressed I asked my dad how good is this college he said this is just ordinary, so I was expecting something extraordinary in my college.
We reached the place, it was in between city, as soon as we went, we were invited to a brief orientation about the institution, as the orientation was in library we thought maybe we should leave our foot wares in the giant shoe rack which was nearby and attended the program. It was mostly about them saying "Hard work leads to success" in many ways, they said we will have Bank of India ATM in our CAMPUS, our CAMPUS has many facilities, students should not use mobiles in the CAMPUS, I thought maybe this is just a administrative building, their campus is somewhere behind this. So I applied and got into the college, first day of the college I realized there is no campus, it's just three buildings.
I was broke, I thought, I will have a chance to focus on my talent. I was wrong. people were not so welcoming, college had hectic schedule, the timings was morning 7 to evening 7.it was a big circus to sit for such a long time. Eventually I got used to it, even though I couldn't concentrate I used to listen and act like as if I am finding it interesting. it's simple just nod your head look at the board and occasionally repeat after the lecturer, nobody doubts on you. I did this for two long years and was caught once, never mind once is negligible.
only thing I liked was food, we could order whatever we wanted an get it delivered at out doorsteps, our warden was friendly and a lenient guy he was our Kannada teacher. Hostel was also in convenient place. Initially I missed home later on I did not wanted to go home.
